Private Botswana & Hwange Safari
Overview
This will be a clockwise tour of the Chobe wilderness area, starting in Nata.
Rental vehicles can be collected in Maun or Gabarone. I would suggest Maun. Maun also has good grocery shops so I would suggest arriving a day early and getting yourself sorted out. Our first night will be in Moremi 3rd bridge,so I would like to leave early on day 2 to make the most of the day.
Then we are away from shops and fuel stations for 8 nights before arriving in the Kasane area. Then in to Zimbabwe for a few nights.
To stretch the tour we cann add a night in Kasane to take a break with shops and a bit of relaxing. There is also the option to stretch the tour in Botswana at the end, Kubu Island, Baines baobabs, Nxai pans, Makgadigadi pans etc.
To shorten the tour we can end it in Kasane after about 10 days.
The first section up to arriving in Kasane is fixed with very limited accommodation still available. Changes can be made after Kasane day 10 if needed.

The Itinerary
Day 1, 29 July 2023
I arrive in Maun for the last night of my preceding tour. We meet at Maun.
You could either stay with us at the campsite or sleep in your own accommodations for the night. Our tour will start first thing the next morning.
I suggest spending a portion of this day to fill vehicles with fuel, and do grocery shopping. I will pre-prepare you for what to shop and where to get it.
For the night, I have booked camping space for you with my previous group, please just advise if you are not utilising it.

Depending on who needs what in town, we will depart for the Moremi asap.
It is about a 2.5 hour drive to the southern gate where we check in and start our day.
We will slowly make our way north and stop for coffee and lunch in the game viewing areas, next to the road. We will explore the southern parts of the park and finally end at 3rd bridge for the night.
