The Comprehensive Zimbabwe Parks and Nature Safari 2025

Overview

I have not done this tour for few years. Finally it is on the books again.

We focus on the Zimbabwe parks and visit the main parks in two weeks. Super exclusive Hwange campsites, Lake Kariba and 3 nights at Mana Pools. Then a bit of culture at Great Zimbabwe ruins before ending the tour in Gonarezhou.

This tour truly touches all the best Zimbabwe has to offer.

If you have not been to Zim on a parks tour, it is definitely time to go.

Limited space and very popular, book now.

The Itinerary

Day 1

We meet at Nata in Botswana. A good restaurant means you don’t need to worry about food.

Day 2

We make our way to the Zimbabwe border at Pandamatenga and proceed through.

From here we head to our very exclusive camp for two nights. That spot where you say ” i wish we could sleep here”, yes that spot.

Day 3

Having the perfect campsite, a short drive in the day is all we will do.

Day 4

We leave camp and go for an extensive game viewing day, in the evening we are at Sinamatela, one of the special camps in Hwange.

Day 5

We leave Hwange and head towards Kariba. We sleep next to the lake.

Day 6, 7

We make our way to Matusadona and again have two nights in this incredible place.

We enjoy the park and go for a short drive, then relax under the bix fig trees.

Day 8,9,10

We continue east to Mana pools. We will sleep at Mana pools for 3 nights, and have daily game drives and explore the park.

We will drive around the pools, and have lunch next to the Zambezi.

Day 11,12

We leave the park and head south, skirting around Harare we make our way to Great Zimbabwe Ruins.

Day 13, 14, 15

We head to Gonarezhou, place of the elephants.

We drive to the top of Chilojo cliffs, drive to the confluence of the Save and the Runde. Explore the inland water spots. Have coffee and lunches at some of the nicest spots around.

In the evening we relax at our riverside campsite with a G&T or a red wine.

Day 16

We make our way out of camp and head to South Africa. I am crossing via Beit Bridge. Or you could proceed to Francistown to exit in to Botswana.

No experience required. The biggest challenge will be sand, but that is easy negotiated. I personally guide the tour and will give you everything you need as we go.
